Clam on sandbed with T5 possible?

hi i need some advice from clam guru :)

i using DE 6x39W T5

all about 1month old

4x blue+

1x purple

1x Aquablue

lighting is 2.5" from water surface and from surface to sandbed is about 19"

isit possible to place clam on the sandbed with 6 T5 from this height and stay healthy?

need some advice before i get one.

dont want the clam to suffer

Not a guru, yes it's possible. I'm keeping 4 clams and my ht specs is similar to yours. But before that you'll need to consider your water parameters and any fishes that will irritate the clams to close up.

All clams are light demanding. So I can't tell you which are the most light demanding. Do note that clams will consume a lot of kh and ca from your tank, improper lvs will greatly affect the life span and health of the clams.

yes possible so long the height of your tank dun exceed 2 feet...

that should be a safe zone...

anything higher than that, MH will be highly recommended.

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!
