Hi guys,

Believe it or not, I bought a 2nd/3rd/maybe more Hanna pH test pen from the flea market along Kelantan Lane at a price of.....

*DRUMROLL*

$3 bucks!!!!!!!!!! ($4.50 with batteries)

Yah well anyway I suspect it's seriously screwed, but it does give a reading.. only the reading isn't exactly constant esp after I dip in in saltwater then freshwater and back...

I know one of the dials at the back tunes it, so I just get pH 7.0 calibrating solution, dip it in and turn it..

But what does the other button do?

Also if I someone can tell me the instructions on how to use it I would be very grateful..

Thanks...

Any pH probe is only accurate for one year. I would suggest that you throw that test pen away.

That's just the way things work. They last for a year only.

Reefing is never cheap to start with anyway.
