Hi

I have a red pail of dead sand (i suppose) looking for new owner.

Giving it free just bring a new pail for me will do..

Self collect @ SengKang..

ok maybe you would like to wash it first ... cos it is dirty as it is dead sand

Sorry for asking so many questions. Will it be good if i wash the sand and dry it under the sun then when it gets completely dry, i place it into the tank. At least the dead bacteria is not introduced into the tank (am i right to say to)?

it will more or less contribute some NO3 ...

it is a cycle you cant avoid if u are starting a new tank ... or system
