My 5ft tank due to some unforeseen circumstance, is quite warm. (30-31)

Currently in the tank, 1 weipro 3000 (skimmer), 1 tom 600, 2 maxijets 900 & 600

Looking for some PH that do not generate much heat...any recommendations?

Does the Tunze or eheim heat up much?

maxijet shld not heat up so much .. maybe it is the weipro

by the way ehiem though durable, is quite high in wattage for the higher capacity. imo tunze is good & cool .. especially for 5ft .. or maybe u shld juz get a chiller ..

I find that Ocean free brand is lowest watt (less heat generated) when compare to other pump at same flow rate. My return pump is Ocean free 5000, flow rate=2250 l/h, 30W only, it can pump water up to 3.8m. It can also used externally.

As comparison, Ehiem pump operates at 50W for 2400 l/h.

It has higher flow rate version Ocean free 7000 and 9000. Check it out

Currently using the ocean free 9000 it's also 90w, flow rate abt 4500 l/h for my skimmer. Very strong flow. Will be mounting it externally after CNY.

if your pockets are deep enough get a chiller. a 5 ft with a chiller will be very good for your ls

Cant add chiller,too much electricity used, my partners will kill me and cook my fishes, fry the clams and bbq the shrimps

Just talk to them NICELY lor. I'm sure they will not mind. If not drill a hole beside the refrigerator beside your tank and run a hose through it.

for return pump need to look at the flow curve cos you need to drive the water high and if the pump is not pressure rated then sometimes too much lost and you get lousy flow rate.
