Rusty X Flame angelfish

i know that i always come across as rude and arrogant and a smart alec know it all. it pains everyone here trust me i knowww.

i also know that i ain't exactly the nicest and friendliest reefer here. ok maybe i am the most unfriendly reefer here. and i do a bad job at hiding it.

and i deserve it. i'm not being sarcastic here.

i also know about your secret hate lemon PMs you hold with your friends everyday and how you had an army of lemon haters. back then i would device plans to make you angry and piss everyone off. i was an ignorant and angsty kid then.

while i am still a kid now, i try, now and then, to be nicer and more friendly. but i think i'm still doing a bad job at it. that's why i quit as a moderator and that's why i've abstained from the forum for most parts now and resided in my hybrid thread section where i can post on all the rare fish i want. but sometimes even there, i still manage to offend people.

but really. i'm trying.

so considering you know me so well. you must know that this is very hard for me to say.

and i'm swalllowing my pride and saying a big sorry to you here, and to johan, in public, not in PM.

so, peace.

and sorry.

and i really mean it. i wish to put all our past behind us, if you want to.

:):peace:

I remembered once that Lemon reacted passionately to one of my post. I think it was about how he felt the community here could be more appreciative of other fishes as compared to the usual fishes that everyone were familar with.

I was a bit taken aback initially.

But as I spend time reading through the forums, I realised that Lemon was someone who is very passionate about fishes and shared much information with the community. I think the community does look to him for advice.

In fact, after the incident, I actually Pmed Lemon to ask about how to get difficult fishes to start feeding as I acquired a pair of Ostracion Meleagris. He was very patient and shared with me how I could get things started, he also referred me to his friend who had prior experience with Ostracion Meleagris. And today, I think I have read almost all his write-ups about reefsafe butterfly, dwarf angels and use them as a guide for my purchases.

So for me, I think Lemon can be very engaged with an issue or discussion but never with the person.

As for Mr Johan,

Wow, what can I say?!?!!

It's really a pleasure to "meet" the person who supplies Junkai with those fishes.

I am your faithful supporter here,

I remembered in one of your first shipment to IWarna, I purchased the ghost pipefish and Ostracion solorensis (female).

And in your latest shipment, I bought ALL your cardinal crown of thorns (was waiting for it for so long) and your banded possum, all of which are under quarantine.

I heard Junkai was supposed to accquire the Ostracion Meleagris pair from you, but you did not shipped them as you felt that they were not ready. Talk about being a responsible exporter! (hmmm, come to think of it, I am not sure if the Ostracion Meleagris was suppose to come from you, too many fishes I wanted, might have mix them up)

Would you have small size Ostracion Meleagris? I find it really hard to coax them to eat, and usually they just waste away :(

Apologies for diluting this thread!

But thanks Lemon for your relentless passion!

And thanks Johan for your equally relentless awesome stock of fishes!

God bless

First regarding the Ostracion meleagris meleagris. I have not shipped any YET to Junkai ,so when ever bought in Singapore they are NOT mine!! In order to be successful with shipping them ,one needs to detoxify them for three weeks. Right after they are not a problem any longer and will arrive in good health. We have plenty solorensis here ,right in front of our facility. Small is never the problem ,however getting males in small size is giving a headache as they are never pretty...First thing you need in order to be successful in keeping Ostracion Meleagris is STRONG CURRENT !!

I Still have some 100 Crown of Thorn cardinals left.. come and get them !!!

Regarding posts made in the past by my much appreciate and dearly beloved friend Lemon Peel, I am not going to read it as I might just have all the hair on my back go stand right up.... Not sure , but just in case..

If one writes ###### and Bull one time, I do believe it is within the line of thinking and writing utterly wrong things over and over again.Beside what he writes come from the internet , so hardly any decades of experience of his own to be expected...

I could write here now a complete result of years long study and testing Oxymonocanthus longirostris in a Acropora tank .. Let me tell you this but read all first !!

Oxymonocanthus DOES NOT EAT Acropora BUT CURE IT!!

They eat away the damaged polyps which as we all know ( DO WE ???) grow back in 24 hours only!!. they do eat some of the mucous though.. What they do is just nursing the corals that have been attacked by either Butterflies or for instance Parrot fish....YES the polyps when touched all retreat but than again pieces that have been cured ( obviuous I would say) do much better than others. and I am not the only one telling this !!

Well the whole forum will start rolling over me now Lemon Squeeze to start with...What an enjoyable Friday evening this is going to be...

But keep in mind not so many years ,we all removed those little crabs from that same Acropora as we believed they were PESTS, Hmm. now we ship them by the hundreds each day over the world..

Next year we are releasing tank bred Centropyge regular but on small scale on the market....so all of you that want to argue with me : Eat your heart out!

Johan
