Where to buy additives? And plumbing supplies?

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow reefers,

Few quick questions :

1) Where do you buy carbon / phosphate(GFO?) reactors and media?

Any good brand(s) to recommend? I'm planning for a 4x2x2 SPS tank

2) Where's a good place for assorted plumbing supplies?

I've tried all the hardware shops around my area but they don't carry the unions and ball valves that I need..

Thanks for your comments =)

4 x 2 x 1 low tank

Do they sell the corresponding reactors too?

I'm still trying to understand the difference between a carbon reactor vs a phosphate reactor..

Thanks for the help =)

yup bro, sponsor do sell reactor.

carbon is to remove impurities like the colour in the water (from yellow -> more crystal clear) and phosphate is to reduce the po4 which results in lesser algae.. (in lay man terms) hehe

bros if i am wrong do update me lol
