SRC Member tunicate Posted July 24, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted July 24, 2011 Just a thought: Most neighborhood lighting shop sells florescent lighting reflectors. You can get one for your ATS PL lights to make it more efficient & to reduce algae build-up in rest of your sump area.

kutrax82
Beautiful zoas garden Zoas growing like weeds for some of em ,especially the green hair mushroom. Been feeding diy food using frozen oyster, nori and Repashy comunity all blended and freeze into cubes. 2 cube of diy food,a cube of frozen mysis and 3 time of dry pellet(from Ah Bak) using food timer . Weekly testing of no3 using DD high range test shows zero due the the running of UAS scrubber and a cup of NP biopellet in reactor, replenish every 4 mths. Only drawback of running the uas is harvesting the green algae every 7-9 days to avoid excess nutrients from releasing back to water. kutrax82
Started dosing Fauna marin REEF VITALITY today. Started off with half a capsule, the powder is hard to dissolve but just dump it to the tank after mixing in a cup of water. Aslo i started dosing Redsea coral color A and C yesterday, on top of the Fauna marine blue element, lets see how it goes for my red and green sps. I would have prefer to dose the Fauna marine colors elements if i knew it was back in stock earlier. Shot taken yesterday.
