if i am not wrong, it can maintain in non chiller around 29degree but i am not sure of the growth rate.

am using a chiller chilling @ around 27degree

Use fan also can, growth rate slower ba. My tank used to hit 30degree cos fan not strong already but zoas still ok, changed a new fan 27degree, more safer for all corals.

If a fan is used, the evaporation rate will be pretty high? what size is your tank and how often do you top up?

Yes bro, evaporation is high, mine is 2ft and doing top up daily. It's better to invest in a chiller.
