Q: Why didn’t my UANTriops hatch within 24 hours?

A: Please look the temperature strip to see if the water temperature is between 72-84F. UANTriops will not hatch if the water temperature is not between 72-84F.111222

Q: How do I raise the water temperature to be between 72-84F?

A: You may place a light directly above the water container to raise the water temperature and also to keep the water temperature constant. Proper water temperature is the key to keep UANTriops alive and healthy.

Q: How long should I keep the light on?

A: UANTriops need at least 12-16 hours of lighting either natural light or lamp lighting.

Q: Can I use tap water for UANTriops?

A: No. Most tap water contains chlorine. UANTriops will not hatch nor live in water containing chlorine. Please use spring or purified bottled drinking water that do not containing chlorine. Distilled water may also be used,

Q: Can I add aquarium plants to my tank?

A: We do not recommend adding any aquarium plants. However, a few live aquarium Java moss may be added and UANTriops will eat it. Please DO NOT add any other aquarium plants or decorations items.
