Recommendation needed for 3ft tank chiller!

Hi there bros and sis!

I need some recommendations with regards to a suitable brand of chiller for my 3ft tank.

As i am a student, your advice would be greatly critical in my budgeting (which obviously isnt much) and all so i'd really hope help is out there. Thank you! (:

Try hailea or resun. I'm sure you find one within the budget. Get one Hp up above what you need.

Hi tropic! Erm if my tank is about 450l including sump vol, would a resun cl28 be good enough?

Should be fine if you consider 1 up size. For hailea think should be hc300a.

I'm using a 2nd hand Artica chiller for my 3' tank. 1/4 hp I think.

Resun not recommended. Go for Hailea. Even Aquamedic Chillers (German Brand) are made in China by Hailea.300 model should be good enough.

buy those that not consume alot of electricity, if not ur bill will be up a lot

Remember the bigger is better philosophy!

If you are keeping fishes only, you can stay off the chiller, until you got more money to buy a better second hand chiller(first hand is too expensive for students like us)

After that than buy the corals, in that case, you also will have more time to maintain the water conditions that these corals need.

*I'm a firm believer of getting everything in place before the stocks goes in
