The worm seems like fire rather than bristle worm. The mantis needs to catch out. Yr rocks might have lots of unwanted stuff, chk out crabs also. All the best.

Fire Worm? is not reef safe also right? total i caught abt 5 liao.... I also saw 1 very small crab... need to take out also?

Bro... dring the cycling period will all these pest come out? maybe abt 1 month....?

Yesterday place a bait trap to capture Mr Mantis.....

after about 6 hrs... it never fall for the bait but discovered its hideout by my CO (Staring at my CO.... hahaha...) .... I jealous.... so I remove its whole territory....

bath it with some boiling water..... see red..... :)

Hmmm.. from the shape of the body, it doesn't seem like the mantis shrimp... nevertheless, hope you nailed it. It ranks high in the top most wanted list in reef crime. :evil:

Thx Sis.... I might be just a little lucky la..... now trying to get rid of a crab.... keke... worth the time staring at the rocks.... sometimes i see them and their hideout too.....

Hi Guys... I am back..... After abt one month run in..... NH3=0, NO2=Close to 0 and NO3=Close to 0.

Added ProdiBio BioDigest and Bioptim for the past 3 weekends. The last weekend never dose. Trying to change the dosage to fortnightly.

The tank is now quite stable with the following livestock,

01 x Leopard Wrasse (2 Weeks old) Feeding good with Mysis Shrimp and Pallets.

01 x Royal Gramma (1 week Old) Feeding good with Mysis Shrimp and Pallets.

01 x Blue Sea Fan (2 Weeks Old) Feeding good with Marine Snow.

01 x Strawberry Snail (1 Week Old)

02 x Turbo Snail (2 Weeks Old)

01 x Red Sea Star (1 Week Old)

01 x Red Hermit Carb (2 Weeks Old)

01 x Sea Urchin (1 Week Old)

01 x Reef Lobster (1 Week Old)

01 x Fire Shrimp (2 Weeks Old)

01 x Boxing Shrimp. (2 Weeks Old).

Will follow up with some pix.....

So far hv not change water yet.... thinking of waiting another week to check on the ANN again. what u think guys?
