Retrofit Aquazonic 2FT Light Set with eBallast

Anyone tried to do this before? When I opened up my 2FT Aquazonic light set, I found transformer/magnetic ballast. I was thinking to replace them with eBallast but not sure will it fit.

Their profile thickness for the ballast housing is pretty slim. I have cOnsidered befoe on a 1.5ft. Most Available eballast in market can only mount outside case.
