Calcium level

Anyone can help? Calcium level very high 600+ .change two jerry can 25L of water still cannot down. Try push alkali but cannot also. But all coral still ok, stop dripping the calcium already

Did u test correctly? What test kit do u use...hows the KH level?

Should b correctly, brand under ph lab. I use it to test the water which I brought is only 420. Kh I never test!

Test for KH first. Question, what are you dosing for calcium? There is a direct relation between KH or carbonate hardness and Calcium(including strontium and magnesium). They seasaw each other. If one goes up, the other goes down and vice-versa.

Do you dose Magnesium and Strontium too? If you want to reduce your calcium, I suggest you reduce the dosing of Magnesium and Strontium too as they add up the releasing of free calcium ions in your tank and reducing the effect of free carbonate(KH).

I suggest you test KH and pH.
