fan(s) recommendation for 4ft tank

Hi Guys,

i just bought 2 of these

but it can only cool down about 1/2 to 1 degree so i am thinking if any of you have other better recommendation.

Is there anyone using this?

it is stated for 75-120cm long..so i am wondering if it will be powerful enough to cool down 4degree.

The fan is too small for your 4ft tank. Try looking for those clip on fan like the one shown on the photo, you should be able to find this in Courts ..

Actually, the fan that you bought is already very powerful. Of course, using just one to cool a 4ft tank is really pushing it. If you really want to use a fan as a means of cooling, just get another one or two more of the same fan would do. Watch out for the evaporation rate!

Im actually using 2 of these fans..and after quite a few hours..glad that the temp drop by 2 degrees =D surprisingly it takes quite some time for the temp to go back up

IMO , for 4ft might as well get a chiller. If there is space constraints, than a fan would be a better option. But evaporation rate would be pretty high.
