think is a sabae anemone...from sealife, i suppose.

u need to accimilate them well....otherwise, they will keep hiding n eventually rot inside yr tank or kamazaki by going into your wavemaker....relatively inexpensive.

not too sure, if they are dyed into pink colour....i was told those in yellow colours are dyed...so they won't last long....perhaps, those experts can give their comments

they could hv dye it better..

if they dye usually the base have a tint of color same as the top...

I didnt know its dye. I still thought pink anemone exist.

Purple do occur in nature but is usually the drabber purple. If it's bright purple, better think twice.

More common though is the purple tip.

its a sabae anomone, pink color is dyed. I got a bleached one. feeding well though, but donno how long will it survive.

No wonder la. I was in for a shock when I saw them in Ah Beng place a couple of months ago. I was also like "wow...sure or not...sooooo pink and soooo yellow". They dont look natural to me.

U can see that the water is lumi green, obviously dying in process.

That pink is dyed, had some friend kept them alive for quite long.

I just got 1 that is totally purple from Henry's but bring back home a little fade out still hoping that it will recover.

usually the dyed ones wont last long. had a white sabae anemone before and only lasted 2 months. the natural color should be creamish color.

Ah Beng at Pasir Ris has yellow and pink ones for the past few weeks when i was there. They have the richest colors of all corals in the shop.

Those at Ahbeng's shop seems to be there for ages and they don't look like they're dying?

Bleached anemones can recover, but takes a long time. Thats provided if reefer can provide it needs. Very tricker animal, but once settled down, it can be an interested addition to the aquarium.

As for dyed ones, well, it has all the signs telling you it's not natural, but it's really up to individual. There is always risk with anemones.
