I have been cycling my new tank for a 2 weeks already... and just notice that there are some green hair algae devloping on my live rock... is this normal when cycling process... or should i adopt preventive measure now... tks

Leave your tank lights off. Give it another few more weeks to cycle. Then do water test.

P.S. Show us a pic of your tank if possible.

thank you... I turn off the light already... just wondering should I start my refugium as well during the cycling process... will try to post some pics soon,,,
