Can this Tunze Recirculation Pump Silence Electronic use as a return pump?

Thought of changing my Ehiem 1260 to this pump. Pls advice.

Hi bro,

I just step down from 1262 to 1260 due to sand storm so upgrade to 1264 is totally out of my mind .

Currently ehiem 1260 of 2400L/h is abit weak and 3600L/h is too strong which causes sandstorm ( grade 0 fine sand) in my tank no matter how I adjust the outlet pipe. That why now.....I'm trying to look for 3000L/h good and reliable pump lor !

HI bro,

If using one pump to many equipment, one gone many equipment will be affected so I prefer one to one rather than one is to many.

Btw, I'm Ehiem supporter too but the watt and size is really a "WOW" !

Not just watt...size matter too !

Sump area constraint so have to source for small sized with strong flow rated and low watt pump to cater my needs .

I think Rio pumps are very efficient for the wattage they consume. But noise is another issue
