Tank's Story

The Tank's Story ends today with a abused sps, thrown aside and left to rot.

For months. Forgotten.

Until a minor rock collapsed, unearthed the her.

Guilt moves anyone with soul.

Put her now at the front, will the ugly ducking change to a gracious swan?

Are all stories made to end this way...

Only time will tell..

A sps from Down Under but straining her body towards up and above..

Thrusting ahead above all other stags,

Leaving behind Red Planet, and brushing aside the world of Fibre Optics.. Surge on..

The singapore flag is outstanding pointing out toward the direct for further nation and reef world.

YT,

I'm new to the world of sps and love your sps dominated scape. Is that a big pocci at the bottom right? It's really gorgeous. Being a new sps reefer, I'm curious to know how you manage so many sps with such close proximity to each other? How much time do they have before they start to encroach into each other's territory?

Separately, I'm sure your newly unearthed sps will recover fully in your good hands. :)

Aquarium 3 - 250 liters with sump and refugium

Jebao DC 6000 pump with speed controller

Skimz skimmer

AI Hydra 52 HD

Hailea HS-66A (1/4 hp) chiller

Maxspect Gyre

TLF Phosban reactors with Phosban

Tunze nano osmolator

Marine Magic Triplet Dosing

Aquarium 1 - 27 litres

Atman HF-0600 HOB filter

Maxspect Razor Nano 60W (10,000 K)

AOL 60 litres chiller

Tunze Nano Osmolator

The road is long with many a winding turn. That is the path that reefer takes. But it will leads us to satisfaction or someway happy.

So reef on... Reef Happy, Happy Reefer.

Reef Garden, your nickname sums it all: the reef is a garden,we grow plants and flowers , we try to choose the best spot for them for light and flow and get them compatible neighbors for peace and harmony.

Try to visualize what you want for the scape and colors , then go out to look for them.

Growth shape is as importZnt as colour..

Posted Image

See the sps above, not really Colourful but the form is so eye catching, so relevant in my tank. A beauty to me.

Posted Image

Yes, that's a pocci on the right and a Red Planet further down.

These sps contribute colours and add depth to the dimension of the reef.

You will learn as you go along...

Cheers,

Yt

You have such words of wisdom that can only come from someone so experienced and respected in the forum. Your use of contrast in colour, growth form and habit to create a beautiful reef scape is brilliant. Thanks for the great advice.

Uncle Mike.If I ever, ever.... one day in the faraway future, return to sps, it has got to be because of this tank thread!2 thumbs up buddy!

2 Ws in your name...hmm ... Got to be Whisky!!

Faraway Future? Don't bet on it.. The last time you decommed for a new love, you couldn't even last 6 months and came roaring back with a 5 or 6 footer and bagged the TOTM Gold Award.

So what's your game plan , now?

Wilson loves Whisky. Well, that works too.

Due to some mishaps, I'm now silently satisfied with a fowlr these days. The remant coral structures still reminds me of the "golden era". Haha.
