True Perc Strange behavior

Hi, my percs pair are acting strangely lately. Can anyone share what could be the problem?

Have recently upgraded my LED lighting to the controllable kind, blue and white can be switched on individually.

When both lights are on, they are a loving couple, but once only the blue LED is on, the bigger one (should be the female) will wack the other.

Both have been very hostile to other fish too. They have killed a pair of fire golby and a carpenter wrasse till date.

I do hope so but it's the mood swing when the blue lights are on that puzzles me most.
