mushroom sometines warp up like a ball for a day

somtimes i notice my mushrooms warp up like a ball for a 1 or 2 days

anyone experience that before?

yes which mean your muishroom is tyring to protect itself..

issit because your water current too strong..

mushroom dislike strong current..

maybe the current too strong i guess...can try to reduce it

I notice that mine will behave like this after feeding with algae... afterwhich, it will be very super beautiful the next day...

is not just one mushroom but is the entire mushrooms

on the same rock......

maybe tehy close up just want to have some privacy

those white threadlike stuff ok lah. When i brought home my green super mushroom few mths ago, they gv out these stuff but once settle down ntg to wori abt. elephant ears also gv these out when threatened.

i think because i always put my hands in to shift some rocks or so then all the corals dun open liaoo

They throw out those "brain stuff" is to protect themself when threatened. But if your musroom warps up for long, it could be due to water current, try shifting it to a low-current zone and see how it react...

sudden changes in water parameters can cause them to close up..for instance...a massive waterchange..
