Naso ands achilles tang

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I'm very new in this hobby. Need to seek feedbacks on the compatibility of Naso tang and archilles tang with a community of yellow, dory, black and blue tang. What is the cost of both fish? Where is the best and most affordable place I could purchase them. Hope everyone could guide me with your immense fish keeping knowledge. Many thanks. :ThanxSmiley:

Naso tang u can always get at ah beng. For AT, can try lck as they seem to bring in more often. But u must do research more on AT as its not an easy fish to keep. Since ur tank is new, let it stable first before u purchase any more fishes... If u need help in gettin e AT, u can always cal me n i wil tag u along to get e fish... Cheers bro.... :)

Bro, may I ask how big is your tank? 'cause tangs can grow quite big & need the swimming room. At full growth size, the 5 tangs alone will take up about 55" of total body length. This translates to a 7 footer tank that can barely accommodate them.

His tank is 4by2by2... All his current fish is small... In my opinion it can stil hold all e 5 or 6 tang... Placement of live rock is importance. Create lots of swimming place n use minimal live rock will do... Mine is 4 by 2.5 by 2... Ive more then 20 fish inside. All r big angel n tang. So far no issue. All r fat n healthy...

With the current fishes, that I have in my 4 by 2 by 2 community tank which is Dory-2 inches, black tang-3 inches, blue tang-4 inches and yellow tang-3 inches, is it possible for me to add 3 more yellow tangs,1 naso tang and 1 archilles tang? Will it be too congested? How will the current yellow tang react when i introduce 3 new yellow tang? Is there any way or method I could apply to prevent my current yellow tang from bullying the newly introduce fishes? Please advise.. :ThanxSmiley: .
