can i continue using my biohome which i have used in my hospital tank whick have been dosed with AZOO white spot medication ? i am afraid that amybe if i reuse the biohome it wun allow the culitvation and growth of denitrifying bacteria ... help please thanks ..

I dun recommend using it again unless you have 100% only fishes...

Yea the medication probably contains copper. and is hard to get rid of from the biohome.

it is advise not to use if u have corals in your tank

or invertebrates of any kind. If you have fish and only fish then ok. no shrimp no nothing else.

erm is there anyway i can reuse the biohome in a reef tank ? like soaking it in watre for days or any methods

ya i know it's kind of wasteful.. but then image if u use it again and it cause problem to all your invertebrates then all your money go down the drain...

someone tpld me that i can soak the biohome in geoliquid and it will help removes all the harmfull chemicals like copper is it true ?

i personally don't trust geo liquid very much. though they do claim to remove ALL pollutants. If I were you I'd soak it it heavymetal remover and copper remover. But the cost add up also might as well buy another biohome.
