PH and Alkalinity

Hello fellow reefers

My PH is 8.1 and my Alkalinity is 7.4dKH. What is the best way to increase Alkalinity to 8dKH? Thank you for your advice in advance.

Description of my humble tank

Size - 4 x 2 x 2.5 ft

Protein Skimmer - Reef Octopus OCTX 160

Return Pump - Germain Eheim pump 3400 litres/hr

Chiller - Hailea Chiller 300A

Wave Maker - Ecotech Marine MP40W

Lighting - Solarmax 4ft MH 2 x 150 watts & 2 x T5 lights

Date of Commission of Tank - 22 Dec 2010

Use baking soda/ sodium bicarbonate accordingly with a balance Calcium it will raise alkalinity safely.

Refer to this link if you want to add them, slowly by drip is best coz alk raise is the first cujprit of unstability in marine water captivity.

Aquamedic wave maker

Sump 3x1.5ft plumbed together with;

1.5ft cube live rock

Frag tank 5x1x1ft
