SRC Member vt_snowman87 Posted April 24, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted April 24, 2011 unfortunately bro, its very hard to "lure" an anemone.. unless u take it out and re-locate it, den i'll be able to provide some of my inputs to giving it a sweet-spot.. as of now.. i think just have to cross-fingers liao.. did u do anything new? change tubes? dose new stuff? adjust wavemaker? dnsfpl
recently increase my ca to 440 now increasing mg slowly never move my wave maker nor change tubes its not easy to reposition it as it is on my base rock that is the danger of keeping anemone
Senior Reefer yikai Posted April 24, 2011 Senior Reefer Share Posted April 24, 2011 actually i find the sting of bubble tips to be extremely low in terms of damage capacity. my bubble tip is nestling between 3 SPS and the tentacles are touching all the SPS but no signs of tissue damage. SRC Member vt_snowman87 Posted April 24, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted April 24, 2011 agree with lemon, actually BTA don't do much damage.. so i would suggest leaving it, and hopefully it'll find another sweet spot soon.. SRC Member vinccc2009 Posted April 25, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted April 25, 2011 try not to disturb it unless you take it out your main tank. If it die off, you will be in trouble. I itchy hand shifted the rock out to my qt tank, then use a powerhead to blow it out to a small rock. The next day, my whole tank turn whitish...obvious it suicide itself by not coming out of the rock. Need to wash my whole qt tank...lucky not main tank...
