bro and sisters!

my fishes are 1 by 1 dying. fins rotting. eye swollen and some have white spots. help! is there a cure? i'm new to marine fish rearing

Hi, Sorry to hear that, do u add any new additive or bacteria products? Some time newly introduces livestock might carry disease as well.. Better gone through proper acclimatize process in QT tank And also is your tank completed cycle? How bad is the situation? May be can house other fishes at LFS, that is some LFS provided this service. Cheers...

Eye swollen is likely yr water. Change water and it should improve. White spot, is yr fishes new? If they are new and less than a week one, quite common if not too many. . If whole body covered and yr fishes are listless, big problem. Rottin fin, likely parasite or infection.

its a full 1month cycle already! my water i buy from shop de. previously i used sea salt to cycle. erm even one of my anemones is shrinking like wtf!

You should check your water parameter to decide full cycle or not.. Another thing Seawater always a risk.. And 1month doesn't mean you Nitrogen cycle completed.

Pls find below a short clips on nitrogen cycle.. You need to make sure NH3 & NO2 almost zero and NO3 begin to climb.. NO3 is still manageable..Take note the duration could be vary from system to system depends your setup.. The best way is to measure and tracking... Cheers..

Hey bro, i think the easiest way to identify your problem. Is to test your water parameters. More importantly, check your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. Also, more info will be good. How big and how old is your tank? Are you adding fishes too quicky? Did you quaranteen your newly acquired fishes? Do you test your water reguarly?

worse comes to worse, get a cheap glass tank or... when in desperation last time, I used a pail, put in an air stone,.. and depending on how much lifestock is left, change about 10% of water every few days since there is no filtration system in the pail. If you feed more to boost up your fishes health, then change more water. That's the best I can think up at the moment.

Or you can Call up the LFS that you got your fish from and ask whether they can hold your remaining healthy livestock for you whilst you give your current setup an overhaul and recyle all over again?

where do you get your water from? Have you even tested your water parameters as what the above bros have been suggesting you to do?

Unforutnately you're not telilng us allot of detail other than your fish dying so we don't have a good perspective of the scale of your situation.

good luck.. we have all been there so we know how it feels.

Cheers, ;)

Agreed. If you need help, you have to provide more details. What is your tank size? the setup? etc.

How is your water parameter? Check for ammonia and NO2. What are the fishes left? Is it feeding?

What sort of medication are you using? Better to change 20% - 50% of the water in the pail. cos there is no skimming.
