the Jireh one is useless..... check out madpetz... give them a call. I just bought a 5stage RO/DI filter from them for around 160$ without the TDS meter. was on offer then, dunno if still one or not. confirm 0ppm

Tank : 2.5 x1.5 x 2

Skimmer : Bubble Magus NAC3.5

Lighting : Maxspect 110W

Chiller : Hailea 150 @ 27Deg

Salt : TropicMarin

Another method which don't need filter, put a bag(those used for media) filled with resin into the bucket of water and run a pump. Tds reading also 0. Tested. However, now monitoring whether this method will exhaust the resin faster than those stage filters. Remember, more stage means more media used and calculate the cost.

Thanks bro. Aragonite or Live sand better ha? In terms of long term usage..... one of the LFS told me that Aragonite will not be toxic if use as DSB.....

tested using 3 to 4 cup of small KFC whip potato of resin .... manage to maintain 120L of water to TDS reading 0.. still going strong...

not very sure about that... but i think they are eventually the same thing calcium...sandbed no need super duper deep. ard 3-4 inches enough. think anything above 6inches may become toxic.

by the way, the caribsea's grain size is good... not too big or too small.... my whole sandbed is now colonized with pods! mandarins' heaven!! haha

ic... thanks for the info bro..... these small crustaceans are naturally from yr live sands? or u need to get it from some additives?

If naturally from live sands, we need to add any additives to let it grow? Thanks.... )
