Solo77
Another method which don't need filter, put a bag(those used for media) filled with resin into the bucket of water and run a pump. Tds reading also 0. Tested. However, now monitoring whether this method will exhaust the resin faster than those stage filters. Remember, more stage means more media used and calculate the cost. In terms of long term usage..... one of the LFS told me that Aragonite will not be toxic if use as DSB..... not very sure about that... but i think they are eventually the same thing calcium...sandbed no need super duper deep. ard 3-4 inches enough. think anything above 6inches may become toxic. by the way, the caribsea's grain size is good... not too big or too small.... my whole sandbed is now colonized with pods! mandarins' heaven!! haha Quote Tank : 2.5 x1.5 x 2 Skimmer : Bubble Magus NAC3.5 Lighting : Maxspect 110W Chiller : Hailea 150 @ 27Deg Salt : TropicMarin
