Notice some white mucous (also look like candy floss) on my rocks and corals, what could that be? And notice that my coraline algae starting turning white, is there something wrong with my water?

better do a water parameter test? ammonia, nitrite, pH etc.

How old is you tank? From my experience, coraline algae becomes white due to excessive pH drop. But just the same, do all tests you can, ASAP.

Did the nitrate/ammonia test all ok. Perhaps i should go do my Ph right now... thanks for advice

ph8.0... seems ok.. but water a little cloudy.. is it calcium/magnesium overdoes?

check your alkalinity. Did you recently dose anything? or atleast before this happened?

cloudiness can be caused by several reasons, bacteria bloom or excessive alkalinity that percipitate calcium, magnesium, etc ions into carbonate solid state.

how's ur tank inhabitants doing i do hope they're alright. do update us.

hi all, so far all fishes look healthy.. still swimming and frolicking around... but apparently, this morning i wake up, there is this small little crab (which i din know) crawl out and die on the sand bed.... crap.... :(

maybe i should do one 40% water change over the weekends... and not adding anymore additives ... last i add was magnesium and calcium...

Are you sure its the actual crab and not the shedded shell when it molted? 40% in my opinion is too much water changes and can shock some of your livestock. What's your alkalinity level?
