Finding nemo

Recommended Posts

hi guys, I have a question. My clown fish went missing all of a sudden and I have checked my overflow and sump but still can't find it. Could it be the work of a pest such as crab? By the Way I can't find it's body too :(

It could be hiding. was it sick or bullied? Any new fish introductions?

It's not uncommon for scavengers to clean up an entire fish overnight without a trace.

Disease? What is you tank water parameters? Other inhabitants okay? Mantis Shrimp could be a possibility.

Unlikely due to a worm.

How big are the clownfishes and is it hosted in anemone? Clownfishes are very hardy, with very high success rate. As they say, Mantis shrimp is the likely culprit. If they are hosted in anemone, hardly any fish will go near them.

Check and secure your overflows to avoid recurrence. Clowns are quite hardy and can be nursed back to health with TLC. Good Luck.
