How much sand do i need

I have 4ft by 2ft how much sand do i need ???

Should i use normal sand or live sand ?????

30 to 40kg should be enough to get you a 2 inch sand bed. Use normal sand and cycle, the money spend on live sand can be use for your corals or fishes in future.
