Is this clam healthy (repost)

Perhaps you have to tell us whether you are providing enough light and calcium for keeping clams first.

Failure to do so is a guarantee that clams will die.

Looks like a squamosa or gigas, their colouration tends to be brownish if you are worried about the colour. Was there a colour change?

How long have this calm been in your tank?

Any sign of growth ie do you see new shell growth. New growth are white in colour. If it growing then everything is fine.

Expansion of the mantle does not indicate growth. Too much expansion point to lighting intensity is not enough. If you have it for several months and no growth then the clam could be starving or your calcium and alkilinity level may not be correct.
