Posting my new 28gal JBJ tank, all comments and feedback are welcome.

I am still newbie to SPS keepings, hence need lots of teachning and guiding from all the guru and Shifu here.

I am using a JBJ 28gal tank size, have modified the existing lighting hound to hold a maxspect G1 110W LED lighting inside

Behind the tank, IOS using a hang-on external filter to put carbon and biopellets,

also using Tunze 9002 skimmer to reduce all bio-waste and keep water clean.

Using Kodor nano wavemaker 900L/h together with the stock 2x 100l/h pump

all photos were taken after lighting ON for 1/2hr only, hence most of the SPS are not fully "awake" yet. Will try to take some nice photos with a better camera (DSLR type)

currently water parameter is

Calcium : 440ppm

Carbonate KH : 10

PH : 8.3

Phosphate : zero

Temperate : 26 degree

Amonium : cannot detect

Dosing part A & B every three days (1 cap full)

Add Idoine 1 cap full twice a week

Feed with 5-in-1 coral full (1 cap full) twice a week

Water change : approx 15% to 20% every week

Will try Reef Booster by prodibio which recommended by some bro here. Hopfully it can replace the 5-in-1 and help to grow of all my baby frags.

Tks for the comment, yup that a grade B Picasso got from LCK. actually I am eyeing on that pair in ML. but price too high.

At the moment, I think will keep the LS low, fully focus on keeping the SPS and ensure they all stable and growing first.

Nice hood mod. Neatly done.

Tks, I hv to remove everything inside the original hood, cut / saw / file away some plastic inorder to insert the 110W nicely. Lots of work actually but end result is good.

Is that 1 pc big LR in ur tank?i like the rockscape :welldone:

It made of 2 smaller LR as base and 1 big big LR ontop, thanks to the uncle at AM, he help me choose.

i agree with peacemaker. super good job on the mod! :score:

but i must say your scape this way takes up alot of space which you can put corals since its like a large boulder in the middle. just my thoughts :)

I do agreed, i notice when I put the LR inside the tank the very time. But then since I already got the big big LR, and there is very limited position in putting it in my 28g space. So I just hv to use it for the time being.

there's always the option of selling away the large rock and getting small ones which are cheaper and nicer. large rocks should be quite easy to sell off since there is demand for them for large tanks.

yes they will sting each other when they grow into each other's way but its not an immediate worry for now. growth will just stop in the stung area but the rest will still grow as long as there is room

I find your hang-on external filter interesting. Good implementation to increase sump capacity. It almost looks like a tiny canister filter. So cute. :wub: What's the brand?

The brand is Shiruba XB-303, I got it from C328 at $50+

Tonight really a bad evening for me,

First I got a fine of $100 for parking my car at the loading bay, :(

Then go smoke, the butt drop on my leg and burn my feet. :( :(

And then just now my Sunflower zaos drop out for no reason , found it behind the tank on the sand bed and the worst is I super glue it back upside down. OMG. Not knowing where is head n tail. :((

Now my Sunflower is heavily injured. Hopefully it can recover. :(

Btw is my Sunflower zaos glue correctly, I almost fainted.

I think it will bro, silent and the flow is 900l/h (if I rem correctly)
