radioactive birdnest losing its green

I think bro there is no call for concern.

The green will naturally return after your system has gradually stablises.

Could be high nutrients; could be light. So long as there are good PE, give it some time.

It will recover (:

wah nice...may i know roughly how many inch away from light?

cos another forum a lot say too much light will turn white

not enough light will turn brown

kh 8-9, no3 0, ph 8.1-8.3

salinity 1.024-1.025, temp 26.7-27.3

i never measure po4, ca and mg

Mother colony is about 8" below my LED light and a few frags is below 10~12".

KH - 10~12,

NO3 - nvr check.

PO4- 0,

pH - 8.4~8.5

Chiler - 26.5~2.70

Mg - nvr measure but top up weekly

CA - nver measure but top up weekly

i agree with marcovan :)

anyway regarding your too much light issue i don't think its a cause for worry. my bn is doing just fine around 4" away from 4x24w t5

im using 2 x blue plus, 1 x aquablue special, 1 x actinic now

will too much blue cause this problem?

I doubt too much blue will cause this problem as i am using 5blue plus and 2 purple plus in my 8 tube T5
