enticing black boxfish & blue dot toby

Hello there ,HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Just bought the above fishes.They don't seem interested in any food i've offer them examples:livebrine shrimp,live ghost shrimp,silverfish,frozen mysid shrimps ,frozen mussels,frozen cockcles and lots of other foods that are feed in the natural habitat.still not feeding :o .

I am at wits end what else to do :angry::(:angry::( any suggestions from you guys out there?for your info the fishes are currently in a

tank with:

1 lyretail wrasse

1 squirrel fish

2 blue tail damsels.

The above boxfish & puffer have already been with me for 3 days.have also done observation for any aggression in the day & night (with & without light) none found.again any suggestion? :(

Hey man... According to what you have said I believe that you've been doing the right thing, man... Just give them a little more time and try live food more often and hopefully soon they'll eat, man...

Some fishes just refuse to eat in captivity nomatter what we do and would rather starve to death... Especially cyanide caught ones... Sigh...

for your Boxfish, I would assume that it's characteristics are likes of my Cowfish?.. They would eat algae, nib on live rocks, eat live guppies or mollies.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

For your info AT ,it is swimming in the open that's why i believe it couldn't be suffering from stress or any other factors.But just discover that these kind of fishes (Puffers & Boxfishes) can some time go on a hunger strike .

I'm now crossing my fingers that it would feed should.I going to use a last tactic that is force feeding it.I'll keep u guys inform if i'm sucessful.

hunger strike?? <_< ...my cowfish is eating like crazy.. never stops looking for food.. swims towards me everytime I pick up the food container..
