WTS: Breeding pair (Black Ocellaris)

I am offering to sell this pair of Black Ocellaris breeding pair which I bought from Coralfarm last year.

I've been keeping it for a year, with countless times of breeding. According to the aunty in Coralfarm, this is a wild pair, for those who frequent there should have seem this pair before.

The female is full adult size of 3" and the male is 2.5", both healthy and eating well.

I'm currently looking for genuine breeder who can offer a good price for it.

Perhaps it's easier if you state how much you are looking for it. From what I know only the female is wild, the wild male died during transfer and they paired the female up with a captive bred male. Black ocellaris price is not what it used to be, it is really affordable now.

Always something more important than fish.

Hi Fuel,

Oh.. Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of that. I went over to the farm to buy a packet of water just now, and was once again told that it's a wild pair from Australia..

Wild or captive breed isn't important here to those who appreciate it, the key point is I need experience hobbyist to take care of them..

I knew that nowadays black ocellaris are really affordable, I even bought a few more pairs but none can survive long..

Anyway, I am looking at around Sgd200 for these pair to serious buyer, and it's less than 1/2 the price I paid for it..

I seriously would'nt mind another breeding pair but I have spent enough for broodstock as it already is. Unless you don't mind trading for high quality picasso clowns that are not easy to come by. I can offer you a trade for a pair of juvenile picassos. Some examples...these fish usually command at least $100 a pc. The white will develop further, the third stripe is'nt even out yet. :)

Always something more important than fish.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your interest. To date I have not seen a good offer yet, very likely I will pass it to a friend who has a 4ft marine tank should I decide not to trade.

Regards

Chris

Hi All,

Thank you for the interests. For those who PM me, I apologize for not able to respond promptly. I will PM you today with my selling price, which is 1/2 of my purchase price from Coralfarm a year ago. This pair will go to whoever willing to offer a more attractive price by end of this week. Collection will be at Tuas (actually is my office) during weekdays office hour.

This is the 2 pictures taken today.. as you can see, they are guarding the eggs..
