either side just started moving away from each other. Must have been a painful process (if it could feel pain).

nice shots!! great that u've captured the process.. :thumbsup:

just to share, here was mine in my old tank (decommed):

only managed to snap the "after" pic.. about a few mins after split.. still can see the sludge..

p.s. (was kept in low-lightings, low-flow frag tank, which could explain the banana-looking tentacles.. just my own theory..)

Both halves are moving around trying to find a desired location. Interestingly, there was no sliming. I can't even see the the entrails as in some photos on the web. Wonder of nature. Fantastic.

On a side note, my blue spotted mushies have also been doing their budding thing lately. 2 of them made 3 clone babies each.

Snowman, you mean yours split into 5 at once? that's amazing.

no la, not 1 shot 5 la! that would be pretty hardcore!

1 become 2, 2 become 4, and it went on.. :)

i think ur tank had good flow and circulation, thats why no sliming was seen.. :thumbsup:
