dnsfpl
my temp range from 26.7 to 27.3 water movement should be good, quite a few high flow areas, esp the midtop potion water parameter are stable, but environment, hard to judge i feed NLS + formula 1 & 2 pellets, 5-7 times a day, with food timer at night, seaweed and mysis shrimp soak in garlic anything else i can do? really hope it will turn to deep yellow & purple thanks
SRC Member Ketchup Posted March 7, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted March 7, 2011 Only the females will turn deep yellow if i am not wrong. I think in general, barletts colours are fairly intense, especially under LED blue or artinic lighting

SRC Member lcf425 Posted March 7, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted March 7, 2011 try cyclopeeze
SRC Member babareef Posted March 7, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted March 7, 2011 Agreed. I feed my bartlett with Dainichi pellet,Henry's gourmet and green and brown seaweeds. Other than that maybe u wanna try let your bartlett be the main anthias in hierachy if u know what I mean. I have dispar, carberyi, sunburst, purple queen and blue eye all put together after my bartlett. Now I only see my bartlett as the most territorial but the most intense colour. Just my two cents worth.
dnsfpl
dun like feeding cyclop eeze as it makes my skimmer go crazy lol i have 2 bartlett anthias their tank mates are: 2 flasher wrasse, 2 black clown, 1 AT, 1 mystery wrasse thanks for sharing
SRC Member sunny03 Posted March 7, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted March 7, 2011 my advise dont put other anthias in after you have put bartlett... bartlett will kill them unless u have lots of hiding place for the other fishes.... give ur bartlett some more time... at the mean time look for a alpha male at lfs ... alpha male should have broad body and long fins... colour very intensive Quote Selling big game fishing equipment. SRC Member babareef Posted March 7, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted March 7, 2011 I totally agree but for my case all other anthias came in after the bartlett. No doubt they were bullied like crazy at first. But mayb my tank is big enough n has lots of hiding places. After few days they r free to feed n swim together. my advise dont put other anthias in after you have put bartlett... bartlett will kill them unless u have lots of hiding place for the other fishes.... give ur bartlett some more time... at the mean time look for a alpha male at lfs ... alpha male should have broad body and long fins... colour very intensive
SRC Member babareef Posted March 7, 2011 SRC Member Share Posted March 7, 2011 I agree with sunny abt giving the bartlett more time. Mine take abt more than six month to get that intense colour.Feed them more pellet food.
