my Algae scrubber

hi there i have been using algae surubber for less then 1 yr more then 6 mth

but currently my scrubber have very little algae on it

last time there is so many green green algae.

light supply

24w warm white one side

18w pure white (daylight i think) one another side

but recently it grow grape a like thing. very very little algae ready. how ever my tank doesnt have much algae. i hardly have to wipe the glass.

what are this thing below, is stuck in the mess, hard to remove them

Your screen doesn't look rough enough, maybe you should share some more details of your tank setup

hmmm actually when just instal the algae is a lot a lot one, then as time goes after these red thing came, green algae not coming out le.

rough is ok coz from i research many people buy this screen. from china town Jin Long there ha ha ha

Looks like red grape to me. If there's no more algae on screen, maybe it's a good sign that yr tank had hardly any nutrients, phos and nitrate to feed the nuisance algae, which is a good thing.

hmmm ok actually it have a lot of size i can choose from the shop

i just use the formular flow rate per required size ,that i last time research from this forum i got it.

i think is flexible material, i think is nylon

but i know get this confirm get this will work de. i that time research on where to get this hee hee seem many pp using.

after i use 3-4 day i see brown things one scrubber then jungle form soon wahahaa

after 4-5 month seem turn out this way le algae very little le.

is opp china town point , just cross over from the bridge china town point macdornal

hmmm ya i think might be good le my tank now.

last time i notice my no3 is very high, i think is the max indicator for the chart like 100?

i install dymax denitrator with denni ball type, it seem decrease but not much effect. then i put cheato with good light and mid flowraet also not that good , then i put seacheme no3 remover see no effect. lastly DIY install algae scrubber seem work the best, i no longer need to change water frequently to reduce NO3. just leave it every 1-3 week clear the algae shit, very smelly when cleaning. seem i like the result. but i think due to not much nurtient my cheato is dying hee hee.
