Please state ur views here for a wide 2 feet tank, depth 1 feet by 1 feet.

Just to share also, to people out there.

Low cost doesnt mean cannot keep

Keep LPS, Sps and going for zoas now.

Been keeping for over 3 months using Led Lighting- 1 x 15watt led + 2x blue lights of 1 watt each

Total 17 watt of lighting.

Bird nest and other sps and bubble coral growing fast. Bubble overgrown..

SPS colour of course just average.

Except Mili and acro not able to keep.

System:

1, DIY 2x1x1 tank with 5mm with cover.

2, 1 x nano wave maker.

3, No skimmer

4, Lighting- 1 aqua zonic x 15watt led + 2 x blue lights of 1 watt each

5, DIY IOS

6, filter media: Rough sponge, carbon, bio rings.

7, DIY cooling fan using 12v CPU dc fans

8, using NSW with some 3 in 1 manual dosing.

Live Stocks:

Picasso clowns x2 , blennies x2 and x1 2 spot goby.

1, duncans- many new baby heads now in new tank.

2, aussi acan - new

3, Xeniam - growing on previous 1.5 feet nano tank

4, zoas - new

5, radio active birdnest, digi...and some other sps - all growing on previous 1.5 feet nano tank

6, sun corals - baby suns all over on previous 1.5 feet nano tank

7, clam - no change

Nice BN growth for skimmerless setup with led. Your manual dosing regime is rewarding u.

How long is this setup? The light seem a little insufficient, BN colour seems brown (could be photo colour)..

Setup about 3 months.. My main target is to keep them growing, no complaints of color since it's a cheaper setup.

What's more to ask for a cheaper setup. Low electricty and low equipment cost.

And no PH check and other test kit..

Just water change when i have the time.

One important point, feed them well.. and they grow.

Btw u mentioned about feeding them well, what do you feed the SPS with?

Baby live brine shimps mixed with oyster feast. Yummy..
