Mellow Posted January 1, 2004 Share Posted January 1, 2004 yup, high calcium and dkh will help. maintaining calcium levels of at least 400 will be good. not forgetting good water parameters. U can also try keeping the actinics on for a longer period of time. Do notice significant growths last time....and lastly, u can try combi san! SRC Member alanseah Posted January 1, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 1, 2004 well yup.. high cal and dkh... lighting normal will do.. and there is a trick if u really it want to spread and grow fast.. go use a brush and brush brush abit of those coralline alge in your tank (not too hard till they all gone la).. as this will cause it to spread and grow faster... Marinedisc Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 Well it was recommended by a young chap and on the bottle it stated microalgae coraline stimulator. Was told it takes effect after a period of 6 days. Mine took longer about 2 weeks. Another product from the same manufacturer was the Roti-Rich meant for corals and invertebrates. Quite good.
