ok, if your refugium is 18" cube mean ~25.24Gallon. So, if your desire Muds depth is 1". You should get ~1.4Gallon by calculation. I believe One pack shld be sufficient u can mix with some Aragonite or Coral Chips...

For your case 18" cube, 1 gallon is around 0.7" depth.

I do not know about Caribsea Mineral Mud, can anyone advise ?

i just followed the instructions on the bottle. scoop and dump into the water weekly .... thats it. I was only running on 2 X T5 tubes but my coralline was gao gao.... salt was tropic marine. for that price, thinks its like only 12$,
