AlfaRomeo...

don't need to think. confirm will happen. (= hehz. (=

I'm just thankful that my car only had one huge dent on the rear bumper. thats all.

but whether the dent actually went into the main skeleton of the car, I don't know. will only find out when I go to my workshop tomorrow.

wow terry what kind of toyota do you drive? so strong??? anyway if I were you, you should ask the guy for personal compensation first rather than claim thru insurance, else your premium will increase. you should slip in a bit too that you know he was drunk to scare him a bit like " look I know you were drunk and smashed into my car, so I think its only fair that you pay...." you got other witness? include them. scare the bugger.

had prev experience of being hit from behind also.

1) do remember to ask the mechanic to check your engine mounting. Previously, my engine mounting cracked!

2) if he had admitted full responsibility, then let your insurance guy settle with him. (it must be FULL responsibility from him). then your future premiums will not increase.

3) just a suggestion, you can 'dig' a big hole in his pocket... by threatening to call police (if you are sure he is drink+drive case) or settle for a bigger sum of money. But i dun recommend this lah...

coz D+D case is no joke... suspension + jail... keke

actually nowadays it doesn't matter if the so called guilty party admits full responsibility on the spot cos in the end it is the insurance company that decides who should bear the responsibility.

quite true... its always btwn the 2 insurance company... however, if the both have the same company?

it saves a lot of trouble(unnecessary argument) when the guy admits its his fault...

i recently renewed my insurance (ntuc), and they gave me this booklet which allows one to note down some particulars and details after accident... thought is very helpful.

used to keep a disposable camera in the car... thanks to recent invention of camera phones... keke there's no more need for that...

my handphone was already out of the pocket and the numbers 999 were already pressed. all I had to do was to press the green button on my nokia handphone.

I figured since it was new year and it was a potential 2 v 1 situation, I decided not to. I pity him as well because he's a relatively new driver. but upon greater reflection, I realised I should have come down hard on this bus third.
