Tunze DOC skimmer and Normal Size Skimmer

Just wondering is it worth to spend the money on the Tunze HOB skimmer as compare to normal size skimmer of the same price range? Cause cant really find review on the 9011 or 9016 models, so was thinking if any of you using these skimmers here can give some reviews.

hi bro, personally have not used the tunze skimmers before but the price tags are on the high side.

However, have ever used the bubble magus and reef octopus line of "best bang for the buck" skimmers and they do the job as well, I guess .

of course if the dollar sense is not ur concerned, tunze is no prob for u, else, the BM or RO does the job decently.

I heard that the Tunze design is a little difficult to dismantle for skimmer maintenance. Not sure if this is true.
