Nothing..if my guess is correct its feeding on brittlestars, although it might not enjoy doing so...but oh well..sh*t happens.. ;)

Brittlestars can be abundant in aquariums..and furthermore they are echinoderms too...

Always something more important than fish.

Hi Chew, :off:

Sorry to hear that. Dun worry abt the pincer, they will grow back. I'll suggest that you not put them back together again even you upgraded unless you have something more than 6 ft. I have a 4ft tank and my boxers roam all ard the tank.

Btw, more picture on the harlequin for your reference.

Cheers

Huh really...more than 6 feet than can?? I even seen more than a couple of coral band shrimp in a 5 feet display tank... :erm: Maybe they fight like hell which I didnt know. Sigh!

Strangly the coral band doesnt attack my camel shrimp and scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp... <_< It just cannot tolerate its own kind....

My harlequin just killed my sea star last nite after juz eating one of it "legs".

Anyone can recommend a sea star that can last the attack from harlequin for a reef tank?

Greatly appreciated.

only one Harlequin shrimp? Looks like the starfish has been attacked on all 5 legs.. or is it the picture..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Actually the pic shows the starfish still intact (b4 attack). I still dun know the actual I.D of this starfish till date. It has two color, the tip of its leg is dark orange and the body is brighter orange.
