And also how does this wavemaker works?

This is the no wire attached wavemaker right? Till now a bit confuse on y it can function without wiring.

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!

So far I use it for my tank it no probelm 1 of them is more than 2 years. I had change wet side few months back now still going strong.

Yes this wave maker cannot aim for target direction. But the flow it very wide. It's good wave maker I must say.

Tank Spec :

Display tank : 48" x 24" x 18."'(H)

Sump tank : 25" x 23" x 18"(H)

Return pump : Reef Octopus 8000

Wave Maker : Vortech MP10Wes

Lighting : DIY LED (Cree led) 60 bulb

Hello mate, my is only less than 1 mth old so cannot gv a conclusive assessment yet. I was using 3 tunze nanos and so far this is pretty gd. Spread of flow is muxh wider. N the noise factor tat some find is non-existence so far. Like i say still too early to gv a true aasessment but overall so far so gd

hi whats your personal experience with the vortech mp40 wavemaker what are the pros and cons about this product and is it durable ? :)

I have used MP20, MP40w before and currently using 2X MP10wES for my 3ft tank. So far very satisfy with the performance...therefore I recommend it :thumbsup: !

no reply :( planning to get one but cant decide if it is worth it to buy one

previously using individual powerheads to create flow. 2 main cons high elect consump n laminar flow.

was deciding tunze nano or vortech. both give alternating flow. U will love the look n yr corals n ls will,love it. I got a mp40es wireless. Using the short pulsemode

i have two of these for 5ft plus additional pumps.. best have two so can sync. like some others mention the flow is wide so other areas may have some dead spot which easily can cover by additional wavemaker. the position of the pump also depends on your tank rock layout. the dryside is place exterior and the wetside interior of the glass and they magnetized together each half. properly aligned it should run without a problem.
