Is this Asterina star?

Found this hitchhiker in my tank today. After looking through the ID record, it looks like a Asterina star that might be harmful to corals. If harmful, I definitely won't want it to be in the main tank. I'm really bad at ID'ing stuff. So need experts here to help me confirm what star is this.

If this star is indeed harmful to coral, is it then safe to keep it in fish-only tank (I have a fish-only nano at home)?

My 1.5ft Nano tank

Equipment: Sump with chaeto, hydor nano wavemakers, Maxspect 60W LED, return pump Rio 12HF

Livestock: 2xMaroon Clown, Yellow Watchman Goby, Algae Blenny, six-line wrasse, Fire & Skunk Shrimp, turbo snails, hermit crabs.

Corals: Zoas, Rics, Hammer, Blue & Green Starpolyps.

Yes they are. Whether they are harmful or not is debatable but put them in your fish tank to be safe.

It's quite small actually. Around 1.9cm one end to another.

Fairly certain that the LS pictured are asterinas. they usually have uneven length legs numbered from 3 to more than 7.

I have that last month .About 20 to 30 of them.

I lost few colony of zoos, acans and 2 colony of blasto

Have to watch out.Don't let it overtake your tank

Haha I juz add mine to my son's fish only tank. Now I know why one of my zoa colony suddenly reside so fast. Now I worry I got more in the tank...

Ok, found one more of this star in the tank. This one has 4 shorter legs...does that mean 4 new stars are growing in the tank? <_<

Seriously thinking of getting Harlequin Shrimps to prevent an outbreak of Asterina stars. But feeding the shrimps can be a headache itself...hmm...
