Algae Blennie Question

I noticed my algae blennie changing between pale green and dark green... is this normal??? Which means throughout the day, sometimes it's colouration is light green and at other times it is a dark shade of sea weed green

Yah mine changes colour also.. i think it's trying to blend in with the background

might even changed to shades of black.

I also notice it turns paler when sleeping... having nightmares

mine like i said turn darker, initially thought it kanna food poisoning as the background in my tank is blue styrofoam and has lots of algae on it...... thought he swallowed some styrofoam along the way.....
