hi guys if i wan to make a overflow box what should i look for?? my tank is 4 ft

i went to reef central to make a calculation that wat they give me can anybody explain to me ?? let said if i wan a 1000g per h

understand the part drain pipe diameter

however wat is linear overflow size = 15 inches is it the length of the overflow box inside the tank or wat

??

pls help cos hope to set up the tank by CNY :thanks:

Using the following input parameters

Gallons per Hour = 1000

Drain and Overflow sizes are calculated as

Recommended minimum drain pipe diameter = 1.31 inches

Recommended minimum linear overflow size = 15 inches
