Hi friends,

I have a 2x1.5(W)x1(H) display tank with similar sized sump...Looking forward to your suggestions of fixing ATI T5 bulbs in an aquazonic fixture..

Is is possible to do so ? I am aiming as of now to zoanthids tank and upgrade later to SPS..

Well thanks so much for the inputs..

The fixture is made for T5HOs but its a cheap fixture.Sopa little bit worried as the ballast might not be that good..

However,it would be great if you could let me know where to get solite Type 4 fixture in Singapore online as I would have to ship them to India....

so far i had bad experience with aquazonic t5 sets...had 2 both within a month ballast blew...

using ati tubes in hopar t5 sets..this set is close to 2 years.. 2 feet is one reflector for 2 tubes... i think i saw single reflectors for 3 ft or 4 ft cant remember..

i haven't had a bad experience with hopar too. there is one fixture for 2 feet that comes with 4 reflectors for 4 tubes with build in timers  the shop infront of ahbeng used to carry them for about 13 red notes

otherwise you could always mod your set. the fixture is just a container. all that matters is the ballast, wires, and perhaps the stock endcaps if they're reliable. individual reflectors can be bought from many lfs :)

Thanks a lot..So does Hopar comes with individual reflectors for the tubes and does it have an electronic reliable ballast..

Also wanted to know how good do you find the fixture with ATI tubes?

as mentioned above only that particular model from hopar comes with individual reflectors. the most common hopar fixtures don't come with them. all tubes will share the same reflector. ballasts seem to be mostly electronic and are able to last long quite easily.

Also wanted to know how good do you find the fixture with ATI tubes?

 definitely better with ati tubes than other tubes like the stock t5 tubes or other less reliable brands

No luck with Hopar fixture or solite as aquamarin is not carrying them anymore and its difficult for other sites to ship them to India..

Can anybody let me know of a site where I can get these fixtures?

Also it would be great to get a review on Boyu HQI - 24.

y not DE-lighting ? they can ship to you..

the 2 tubes are not that near each other (compared to those 2 tubes sharing one reflector fixtures, and their individual reflectors are good... probably can do up a 3 tube set (purple plus, blue plus and aquablue special)??

coupled with ATI tubes will be best..

u can order tubes and fixtures at one go from them...
