Naso Tang

I got a juvenile Naso Tang that is ard 3-4" big last Sunday. The problem I'm facing now is that its is eating very little. Abit of mysis & nori. I'm a little worried because I can see that its is getting skinny.

Any advise on how to improve its appetite?

I have been feeding my 4 inch Naso with frozen spinach . suprisingly, it hardly takes the mysis I give but prefers frozen blood worms hands down !!

It was feeding healthily for the past 2 - 3 months before it expired last Saturday. - Was suspecting it could either be disease from blood worms or cynaid (ooops spelling problem). However, my YT, BT and Juv emperor have been feeding on some blood wrms but with no problems.

got it from R *B**N - reputed for such occurences.

Thks for the info. Blood worm? hmm, i do not dare to try.

This morning (before work), I feed it with a mixture I prepared last nite (nori, cyclopeeze, guarlic guard, zoecon, pellets, mysis) and it seems to be eating more. However, it is still ignoring the mysis and on occassion when take in a piece of nori and spit it out. Is this common?

yes it is...my naso only eats seaweed.really attitude...hehehe..it spits out every damn thing i give it except seaweed

Try live shrimp, they will gobble it... after that they will start eating frozen.....
